Question
Jon –
What is the measurement from the flat, rearmost locking face of the muzzle device to the end (of the threaded portion that contacts shims)? I’m looking for something that will give me more space to get further from my handguard, and this one appears to have more material in that area than other keymount devices.

Blackout Defense –
The distance from the rearmost locking face (i.e., the cam-locking surface that is also the torquing surface for your 3/4″ wrench) to the end of the muzzle device is .300″.

Trevor –
Will this work for a 13.7 pin and weld or is it slightly too short?

Blackout Defense –
It is too short. 13.9″ is the minimum barrel length you need to reach 16″ OAL with our muzzle device.
