The Blackout Defense magazine release is designed for a lifetime of use. The rod is machined from steel bar and then black nitrided for a smooth, black finish. The pad is machined from billet steel, nitrided, and then laser engraved. The rod and pad are then pressfit and pinned for anti-rotation. The button is machined from aerospace-grade 7075 aluminum.
