What are the dimensions on this? how long is it?
Blackout Defense –
The overall length is 2.82″. Taking into account thread overlap, it adds approximately 2.22″ onto the barrel length.

I get the Flash Hider and Hybrid, what’s the description of this one? It seems to be ported but not a lot of pictures on the product page. Just trying to understand the use case and comparison with the other Muzzle devices.
Blackout Defense –
This is a brake. It is ported 320 degrees around (no ports on the bottom). It is our modern take on the FG42 muzzle device, which was highly effective on that historical weapon.

Is this California Legal
?
Blackout Defense –
Yes, our FG42 muzzle brake is California legal whether you are building a mag lock or featureless rifle. If you are building a featureless rifle in California, our FG42 is a muzzle brake and does not count as an evil feature.

between this and the hybrid, which one reduces muzzle rise and recoil more? also do any of them function as sacrificial baffles for suppressors?
Blackout Defense –
The FG42 is more effective at reducing muzzle rise and controlling recoil. Our muzzle devices do not function as sacrificial baffles.
rumz_torres –
Does this muzzle device (fg42) throw the gasses forward like a linear comp? Don’t see too many ports that’s why
Minime –
How much muzzle blast is shown from this brake when shooting in low light conditions?
